Role: Business Development & Marketing Position
The Business Development and Marketing position assists landscape architects and the A/E/C community with education of our latest products and concrete’s latest breakthroughs. You’ll be working closely with J&M’s executives and Estimators/Projects Managers to establish relationships with clients and new job leads.

Core Responsibilities:
• Hosts educational on-site demonstrations of various concrete methods/products with current/future customers/employees
• Meets with Architects regularly for presentations on our product/service offerings and follows through to help them achieve their concrete goals within design constraints
• Photograph job sites and edits photos via lightroom/photoshop
• Awards Submittals, Press Releases for trade and local news publications
• Responds to all sample requests, label and presents samples to requestor.
• Responsible for photographing samples and creating ‘Concrete Catalog’ of product offerings
• Develop & Update Flyers & Brochures for products, company information, recently completed work/work in progress – should be proficient in Adobe programs (illustrator, and indesign)
• Attends trade events, classes, seminars that may facilitate future business

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree (Marketing, Advertising, Business or related field is preferred)
• 1-3 years of A/E/C related experience
• Top-notch business development/selling & marketing instincts, with strong interpersonal, communications, influencing skills and must be able to speak in front of a crowd
• Self-starter, strong sense of responsibility and productivity, & dependable follow-through
• Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Lightroom & Photoshop skills are strongly encouraged
• Photography knowledge is strongly encouraged
